North Country RC&D Area Council

The North Country Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Area Council was established in 1968 to address problems and opportunities in New Hampshire's "North Country", encompassing the counties of Belknap, Carroll, Coos and Grafton. North Country RC&D, with office located in Laconia, New Hampshire, is part of a national network of more than 375 locally directed RC&D Councils authorized and assisted by the United States Department of Agriculture.

**Mission Statement**
The mission of North Country's Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Area Council is to facilitate cooperative action  and inspire leadership with people, organizations and communities for a sustainable economy rooted in the conservation and development of our natural resources.
